4noggins Nutty Professor

I've never had a tobacco I didn't like from 4noggins, and in my last TAD order, I decided to try some of their "Nutty Professor" Blend. It's a mixture of Virginias, Burley, a little Latakia, some Turkish and Perique, and it's a super rich and enjoyable smoke!
Cool smoking, sweet, spicy, and, as the name implies, nutty - I could smoke this all day. As you get into the smoke, hold the side of the pipe bowl up to your nose, and you'll get an incredibly sweet aroma. Especially good in a wider bowl.
Highly recommended for those who enjoy the pure flavors of tobacco without the distraction of aromatic flavorings.

I like it, too. Here's my review of it. We agree on it, including the use of a wide bowl.
A well balanced, delicious blend with a light nuttiness and mild sweetness from the topping and the burley. The perique is more raisiny sweet than spicy. The latakia is slight, but pushes the flavor up to the mild to medium strength rating with just a whisper of smokiness. The Turkish is also a light component to add a little body to the lightly sweet stoved Virginias. It's slow burning, and may require just a little drying time. I found the burley to be less noticeable when moist. This is best smoked in a wide bowl for full enjoyment. You can enjoy it any time as it's easily an all day smoke, but brew some coffee and you'll really have a treat.

I have yet to try any 4noggins blends. I'm waiting on some butternut burley that I ordered last week but this also sounds like a must try.

Awesome reviews guys.I started out with aros but quickly moved away when i tried frog morton blends.Then fell in love with Klondike gold and some other Virginias and found out that there are none aromatic tobaccos that are sweet as heck and wonderfully beautiful with sweetness and flavors.I will definitely try this one as i do like the sweet flavors without the aromatic twist.Thanks for the reviews guys i appreciate it as it gives me great direction.happy puffs.

This does sound good! I've had the opportunity to try 4noggins Bald-Headed Teacher as well as Catamount, both have been really good! Hope I'll get to try some in the near future!
