I placed my order on Sunday and received it on Wednesday.....LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT..You know what else I love..FREE SHIPPING....Rich you rock !!!!
The week has been so hectic I am only getting to post my pics and try some baccy today.
So here is the haul minus the cleaning gear:

My new Brebbia Sabbiata Nera (623)

I also got the following baccy. The bulk will be hitting the ball jars tonight:
100g of Frog Morton Cellar (yummmmmmmmmmm)

50g Dunhill EMP
4 oz PS Proper English

4 oz PS Balkan Supreme

2 oz Carter Hall (due to many posts on how good this stuff is for breaking in new pipes. I must say I thought it was ok)

2 oz SG Squadron Leader
Looking forward to starting the weekend REALLY soon.

Roth- I tried it for the first time yesterday. Still moist so I will need to dry some out. There were some positive comments on it by folks who have steered me in the right direction, so I gave it a shot

Metal head- I tried the Proper English at my pipe club and really enjoyed it. It has a great taste and the finish (wine lingo) is great.
Pat - I got 2 oz of Carter Hall that I am putting through some Trypis and the Brebbia tomorrow to break them in

Quick ? ... Why does everyone seem to use Carter Hall to break in new pipes? Is this about building up cake with a neutral flavour tobacco?

You could. Or you could do what this newbie does and break it in with what you like at the time. For me, life's too short to worry about which tobacco I have in a new pipe.
This could be colored by the fact that all but 4 of my pipes are estates.

I was using PS English Luxury, but so many folks here recommend CH for the break in, so I just went with it
