Yes, a one tin limit. We didn't have very many tins and in order to give our customers a chance to buy some, we chose to limit it. Unfortunately, there is always that one guy that will buy them all.
I find this is the most democratic way to sell them. I'm sure most of you understand.

Buying two tins, as Mars does for all but Penzance and Stonehaven, is hardly one guy buying them all. Straw man argument. Paying $4 + to ship one tin of tobacco is absurd. I have received good service from 4Noggins at reasonable prices, including shipping. For this product line, at least for most of the tinned product, a two tin limit ought to be considered.

I for one agree with the one tin / bag limit. Most vendors get what, 10 bags or tins maybe of each blend? I dont know exactly, but if guys are taking 2 each, its gone twice as fast. Im all for giving more people a chance at these blends.
NOW what I dont like is how some vendors will release one blend at a time, or one every few days or weeks, instead of just listing what they have when it comes in.

@jravenwood, I just don't see most of the ET products as that hard to find. Tins of Pembroke, Margate, etc were available for 24 hours or more at several of the etailers. I happen to prefer, strictly as a matter of personal convenience, the ET tins over the bags where available. Fortunately, there are etailers with more accommodating limits and I don't need to pay the postage to get one tin of Dorchester. But I would have pulled the trigger if the limit were 2.
But perhaps today's FDA news will start the air coming out of the tobacco hoarding bubble and things will return to normal.

Nah, I was hoarding long before the FDA silliness just because tobacco prices only increase as time passes.

@oldgeezersmoker I agree my friend, pembroke and Margate are easy to come by. But Dunbar, And so to Bed, and Tilbury, and of course the rarest "two" are harder to get! I dont see the hoarding ending anytime soon! I hear you, if all you want is a tin, adding $4 on to that price makes it a pass as its nearly half the price of the tin. Thats why Im saying it frustrating when some vendors only populate their site with one blend at a time. Iwan Ries being one of them.

Sure, $4.00 to ship one tin is expensive, but keep in mind that most guys buy more than the one tin. They pick up a few other items as well, and that justifies the purchase.
