40cm of Snow on the Way

Here in Nova Scotia, Canada, we are under a Winter Storm Advisory. Forcast for tonight and tomorrow is 40cm of the "White Stuff". I hate snow with a passion but....... I guess I can't stop it.

I hate the snow, but once the Weather Machine(tm) is up and running I'll be able to eradicate winter once and for all.

Thursday and Friday storm dumped 10" on us. Today we rec'vd another 6". Like fisher said, can't stop it...

I hope everyone is safe in their homes and that plenty of supplies are available till it is safe to drive.
No snow here in FL. The weather has been strange though. Cold for a few days and then warm. Now I have on the heat but later in the week it will be A/C.

You guys in eastern Canada get hammered like that every year it seems. I used to fly out there often and it was always an adventure in the winter...ice runways, zero visibility...lots of fun. Out in the western side of the country we don't seem to get huge dumps of snow until early in the spring - march-april seems to be the worst. When I was a kid we used to have snow like you do - we could dig tunnels underneath it. These days not so much. It snows, then melts. Winter is more of a slushy mess. We did have a white Christmas for the first time in a long time though!

we got about 30cms here in PEI, Fisher. plows are pulled off the secondary roads and its a mess. im with you, cant stand winter!

Good luck fisher. We picked up 2 ft in the past few days. Gotta do more shoveling today, oh well.
