Well now, on April 28, the Annual Flea Market takes place in the Arena near me. Haven't gone in 5 years but am definitly hitting it this year. I hope and expect to pick up 20-40 pipes. Wife just put me on a $500.00 budget for the Flea Market so it looks as though it will be full steam ahead. I am excited, to say the least.
Yesterday, I picked up an old German made Meer with a cherry wood stem topped with cork where it pushes into the shank. Price was $48.00 but I bundled up at the Antique store and got it for $10.00. There was no bit, and the cork was worn thin so I had to modify it but it smokes like Heaven. Pic will be posted soon as it is currently enjoying a coat of Bees Wax.
