3 Pipes On The Same Day!

It's a great day when 3 different orders show up on the same day!

First, got this beautiful not even broke in Harkam blasted blowfish from a fellow member:





Next, I've been wanting a Savinelli Bing's, Clark's, or Ginger's favorite for some time but for some reason never did. Then this unsmoked Clark's Favorite sandblasted Punto Oro presented itself and it was finally time:





Last is from a carver I've been watching for some time. The stars aligned and one that really fits my collection became available. Here's a freehand snail by carver Yang Kun:









So excited to get all of these.

I really like the relief/curl on the snail. It is identical to commonly used Māori pattern here in NZ known as a “koru” - symbolic of new life and the strength/peace that come from knowing your roots.

in carving/tattoo work the shape is commonly formed by the space left behind (as in your pipe)
