These three just came off the bench. Fist up is a Virgin, rusticated Liverpool. I rusticated the Liverpools because the briar was not up to scratch to finish them smooth. I have a bent apple and another bent Dublin coming soon.

Kind regards
The virgin has a few flaws but no leaks.

Next is a rusticated Liverpool finished in brown tones.

And last but not least a smooth finished bent Dublin with some nice flame grain.

Wow, you are getting really good! Very cook rustication pattern, and love that dublin!

Hey Mike, I just forgot and then when I thought about it, it was too late since I'd turned it down on the lathe.

Thanks for your comments by the way.

Handsome well-balanced traditional pipes. I especially like the virgin and the Dublin.

Beautiful pipes. Congratulations on being able to create such beautiful items. I have zero artistic talent.

Sorry folks for taking these pictures down. I'm responding to the posts I have up so please forgive me for duplicating these words in three posts. My reason is just my total lack of confidence in what I'm doing and I feel embarrassed at my efforts. I'm just being honest. I waffle a lot and at least for me; it takes a lot of effort to post. Most times I second guess myself and then go into panic mode and ask a moderator to delete my post.

I'm agoraphobic in the extreme and my garage/shop is my safe haven. I panic if I have to go to the post office, doctor's office, hardware store. Basically anywhere that takes me outside. I haven't always been like this, well yes I have if I'm totally honest with myself but it seems to get worse the older I get. I'm pushing 64 next month. Anyway, that is the bare truth of why I stumble and often pull a thread down or delete pictures. There is an old Japanese proverb that says, "Fall down seven times, get up eight."

I just keep getting up and chasing things. So if one of my threads disappears or the pictures aren't there; please just know it's my paranoia flaring up for a moment. I'm re-posting the pics, I won't post them all just because they have already been up. I'm trying to push through my fears and keep going.

Kindly - Chris

shikano, take care of yourself first, but you're doing fine work. I enjoy seeing your work and hearing from you.

Chris, I just happened to check out a few of your threads and your pipes look great. Better than some "pros" IMO. So don't post n delete. Keep at it and you will continue to improve.
