A 1930's, Comoy's 499 Extraordinaire with a $23.64 BIN?

Nah, probably not.

I did report this and notified Rob Cooper.

Do you think maybe the price was supposed to be 236.40? When a price get specific like that, I always wonder what led to it. Was that the power bill?

Perhaps, an inept and fraudulent seller?
He's stolen the listing for that pipe, sold earlier this year by Rob Cooper. (listing is BIN, of course Rob's ad description and pix shows a "10 day listing").

The seller of that auction has (0) feedback, joined eBay this month and is in China.
Many years ago, my fault, but I opened a link that looked like it came from eBay to take a Seller Survey." I was required to enter my USER ID and password to take the survey. I did and took some sort of short survey.
I woke up the next morning, turned on my computer, and discovered that I had listed a brand new $25,000 Ford Pick-up truck of some kind with only 600 miles on it for ONLY $8,000 (BIN), because "I need to raise money fast to help my mother get a kidney transplant." I quickly contacted eBay!
Now, no matter the source, if I have any suspicion at all, I just delete the email. I now practice "safe computing."

I had my ebay account hacked once and was getting billed for thousands of pounds worth of electronics...massive TV sets, hi-fi equipment etc. Turned out the fraud was carried out from Germany of all places!

Ebay pulled it down pretty quickly, I was considering taking the gamble....(kidding!).

Here's another similar attempt at fraud, also using enough of Rob Cooper's seller name, coopersark, to be misleading. "W.O. Larsen Straight Grain 9 Apple Pipe by Peter Hedegaard * COOPERS"

There was also a "you might also be interested in" link to a listing with the same photo that has already been taken down. Its title included the full name "COOPERSARK".
