Last week, wife and I took a ride on the bike out Annapolis Royal way. On the way there, we seen a sign for an Antique and Treasure shop. We stopped in and looked around. He had 3 pipes there of horrible quality. I asked if he would be interested in selling some for me. Long story short, yesterday, I dropped 22 assorted quality pipes off to him. Kind of curious to see how they sell here locally. All were brand names such as Grabows, London England, Medico, etc. I paid on average $6.50 each for them as I bought them in 6-15 pipe lots. The average price I tagged them for was $25.00. Not counting my time of approx. 4-6 hours on each pipe for clean up and restoration, I should make a healthy profit.(Now the wife can't complain if buy a couple more estate lots and these were pipes I haven't smoked but once)
