Rumor is that the POTY is coming in next few weeks. If you like them, I also recommend getting the PSOI(Pipe Smoker's of Ireland) pipes that come out every September, but you have to email Peterson in order to get on the listMark Irwin's blog entry confirmed it will be the 9BC. 183. I bought their 2019 pipe of the year-a spigot poker. They're offering a blasted straight bulldog this year with a spigot option.Rumor is that the POTY is coming in next few weeks. I have the the PSOI from 2016 through 2019 so farI bought their 2019 pipe of the year-a spigot poker. They're offering a blasted straight bulldog this year with a spigot option.
I hope they add a natural shape like they did last year with the 2019. They only had 10 of them out of the 1000 in natural. Either way the 9BC shape is real nice!I am tempted, but then I made a promise to myself never to buy a P-lip pipe again. Also: not a fan of the reddish stain on the smooth version. Aesthetically I like the black pipe, but have been reluctant so far to buy such pipes that do not show any characteristics of the beautiful wood. I somehow find this a bit of a waste of briar to completely cover it with a non-transparent substance.
Yup. Such is life. I wonder the price of the normal versions?Naturals are fine looking but also tend to be priced around $300.
