The 2015 show plans are really coming together...I'm hoping to have a venue contract in had within 14 days so we can announce the location...

I'm with you. I plan to be so pickled in Turbodogs (look it up if you don't know)and tobacco smoke by Sunday that my sweat will be more akin to a good vinegar based BBQ sauce than anything. Plus the couple of new pipes I know I'll leave with.

The Old 77 is beautiful!!! I got to see some of the rooms when I met with them...and they are about a 3 minutes walk to Harrahs...if not less
BIG NEWS!!!! The Friday Night Meet and Greet will be held in the courtyard at Mannings Restaurant...they are located in Fulton Square (the common area between Harrahs Hotel and Casino). They will also have 10-15 small tables available on a first come first serve basis for a pre-show swap and sell!!! I am working on getting more tables...Exhibitors are encouraged to pick up their packets Friday night, the outside servers will be on hand to take drink and food orders....I just had lunch there and have to say their gumbo was fantastic and the BBQ Bacon Burger was amazing....all attendees are welcome to come socialize, smoke your pipe (yes smoking is allowed) and get a shot at some pre-show deals!!! The Pre-Show event will begin at 5:00 on Friday, but I may be there a little earlier if Anyone is itching for a cold beverage and ready to light up a bowl...the pre-ordered show pipes will also be available for pick up that Friday night...the Pre-show event will run from 5-9PM on Oct 2nd...
Just got an update that Dave Huber of DSHPipes will be Exhibiting...this is an LSU boy that carves some beautiful pipes!!
This sounds like it is going to be a great show. Lori and I were excited to attend, but then friends of ours decided to get married the same weekend.

On my first trip to NOLA, on Easter Sunday, we were at the Quarter with my daughter for the afternoon following Mass. I had a number of beers, but one Turbodog at the end of the day did me in (wife drove us home...) So, I'll just stick to the Abita Ambers! I should be able to make the pre-show Meet & Greet. I'll drag along the wife, daughter and son-in-law.
