2003 Dunhill Root Briar XL Freehand (2-star DR)

Dunhill never made many DR's, or produced many freehands, or left many natural rims, or indulged in jumbo sizing very often, but here are all those things in the same pipe.
Does the combination work? I think so, in the same way a Bull Terrier works... no detail or feature makes much sense on its own, but the purposefulness of the whole is compelling:

Does it smoke? Absolutely. Outstandingly well, in fact. You just need to remember a bowl lasts a good while. :lol:

I like it! Very unusual for sure, and to me it looks like an Upshall. (I mean that as a complement)

Dunhill did seem to allow the early 2000's carvers some leeway.

Nice looking pipe indeed but anything looks good after looking at one of those ugly dogs. :D
