2001 Ashton XX Pebble Grain Squat Bulldog(Bill Taylor Era)

I bought this from Dave Neeb's website mkelaw-pipes.com for what I thought was a bargain and Dave is a pleasure to work with. It was even nice than the site photos.

I love things with connections and no one was connected more than Bill Ashton Taylor was to Dunhill. I love the craggy finish and it is such a classic look. The tortoise shell stem pushes it over the top.

It also smokes lovely down to ash and is a proud addition to my collection.

The pipe was pristine as Dave stated. Does have a slight aro ghost, but I can deal.

Jason, I totally missed that pipe until Troy posted a picture of it in another thread. So good on you for jumping on it when you did, pal. That being said, if you fall out of love with it or the Aro ghost is too much, there's a home for it in Canada.

Cool pipe! I love it when Ashton goes for those craggy blasts instead of their more typical conservative ones. I think they do some of the better ones out there.
