Pure VA. This Virginia had just a touch of that vinegar smell, but not nearly as much as other aged Virginia’s. Good initial impression, slightly sweet, smoother, and much more character than F&P Fez and GLP Haddo’s Delight. No pepper in the retrohale, for better or worse. No visible sugar crystals.
