So Taxes should be in soon. Paying a few things off and some new furniture, but my wife and I decided we each get $200 bucks to spend on whatever we want. So how to spend it! I'm open to suggestions. I have in mind a pipe plus tobacco, one pipe, just tobacco, or a split for some gun accessories and tobacco/pipe. I really like some of the Neerup pipes on smoking pipes any experience with those?

Neerups are excellent pipes. I bought one years ago and it was an excellent value for the money.

Tobacco or pipe - tough call. If you're in need of another pipe in your rotation, getting this L'Anatra allows you to get both:

I can attest to L'Anatra's quality and this is a good sized billiard.

Take your time deciding, but when you have the cash I say always go with the big-ticket item (or in this case a $200 pipe).
The money will spend just as fast on tobacco tins and other smaller items, but you'll still have a really nice pipe long after the $200 is gone. Spend it on tobaccos and you'll enjoy them, to be sure, but all you'll be left with is some empty tins. I'd say buy one, nice pipe -- you'll always have an extra 10 or 12 bucks for a tin of tobacco.
My two cents, YMMV, etc.

+1 pitchfork, buy one really nice pipe that you'll cherish for a long time. Agreed that it's a he'll of a lot easier to find $12 for a tin of baccy

I'm voting with the $200 pipe option. You will likely get something of excellent quality,

and it will be with you for decades. Stocking up on tobacco isn't a bad idea, but tins

are something you can buy in incremental quantities, and your sense of adventure may

tug you away from the big supply you bought in 2013 as your tastes change. Go for

the pipe. You can get a pretty impressive example for $200. Look at Redice, Luciano,

Neerup ... and many others. I think this will make your tax refund worthwhile. Just

surveying the options will be an education and a pleasure.

Falcon your choice of bowls $60
use the other $100 on tobacco.

If you have enough nice pipes go with tobacco. If you do go with a pipe take your time and select one that you will really like for a lot of years. For that money you have a large number to choose from.

Nice suggestions! I really like that Radice.

I'm thinking I may go for one of these Neerups, I've been wanting a poker shape for awhile and I'd still have enough to get new fiber optic sights for my 10/22 and maybe a tin or two.

The Neerup poker is one fine looking pipe. It looks more expensive than it is. Poker is one

of my favorite shapes. I have two. They hold a lot of tobacco but aren't heavy.

TAD, without even thinking about it...
What good is a pipe without anything to smoke in it?
