2 New Blakemar Pipes

I received these Blakemar Litchbruyere pipes in today's mail. The bulldog is on the small side, maybe group 3, while the Woodstock is more of a large Zulu. I've been looking at these for quite a while and finally pulled the trigger. English made pipes for under $100 each seems like a deal to me. I swear I'm done buying pipes for 2016.

Well done sir! Blakemar's aren't the prettiest pipes out there, but there some of the best smokers!

Even better are his rusticated cuttys/Canadians & lovats. Are you sure your all done buying for 2016? Christmas is still a week away. Go on, treat yourself!

3 pipes this week alone and 5 for the moth to date. I need to take a breath before hitting it hard again in January. BTW, the inaugural smoke in the bulldog is going quite well with War Horse Bar.

On the other hand, I have got 10 pipes from Michael in 5 parcels since 20. september.

No English pipes here anymore.

I just ordered (arriving tomorrow) two Blakemar pipes, a Hungarian (the large calabash I wanted was sold out) and a bent Rhodesian (bulldog actually as it is diamond shanked). Mike was a really helpful chap to speak to on the 'phone and his pipes are very competitively priced...even including postage!
If they both smoke as well as most folks say then I'll be delighted ::
I'll post pictures when I get around to it.

Good ad for the pipes. Did you get them directly from the brand's web site? They look mighty fine.

I did get them from Blakemar's website. I ordered at night and they shipped the next day. Of course, the USPS routed them all over creation but they got to me in excellent condition. Good time to buy with the pound so low.

I also ordered an Invicta Banker/Brandy and two Blatters! I had never heard of any of these. You guys are killing me here!

I've seen the Invicta pipes and they look great. I only have on Blatter and it is a great smoker. The thick walls on their pipes are outstanding. Enjoy.
