I have an real beauty from the 19th century Can I smoke it do I need to clean it?

Wow, that sucker is no joke. Clean it up, but gently. Then, I say smoke it. That is way to cool to be sitting on a shelf.

Any idea of the origin of this pipe, or any of its history? Has it been smoked much? Any stamp or lettering?

It has swedish stamps I live in Sweden the guy I bought from is from the northern parts
