For all practical purposes, this is an LB with a longer stem.
The grain is what I always think of as the "Peterson Cut" because it's so common for them: Full-coverage birds-eye/paisley on one side, a thumbprint starburst on the other, almost always rotated about an eighth-turn from square.
Nothing remarkable about this pipe except for how well it represents the "stereotypically plain" pipe shape. Like a textbook 3-D template for graphic designers or something.
Smokes like a beast. :D

Is that a filter pipe? I've read that underlined date codes denote a filter, but I don't think that is always the case.
Your thinker wins. No filter.
It seems to have been an 80's thing. That Dublin I put up a couple weeks ago also had an underlined date and was normal in every way:
