The Bruyere finish is a pig to photograph. Dark grain on a dark background, all against a bright(ish) surface. :evil:
You'll just have to trust me that this unimpressive matte-purple-looking jumbo pipe looks MUCH better in hand that it does in photos. In sunlight especially. The grain is quite nice, in fact.
Anyway, I'm not a steady consumer of large pipes, but a few have spoken to me over the years. (This one has a Tanshell mate from 1962 that makes for a nice set of matching war clubs. :lol: )
53.8 grams, 6.75" long.
Smokes wonderfully well, and is a first string candidate when a thick book is in the on-deck circle.

I like bent shapes, especially the swan, but all I smoke are straights as I've sold every bent I've owned.
