1941 GBD Hallmark Billiard

Got the GBD in yesterday, it's in pretty good shape. A few dings on the rim edge but that was pretty much it. Some scratches still on the silver but a little concerned with trying to remove them.

Whoa! Nice clean up on that one!.............. A classic shape, and the band really sets it off.

I wouldn't stress too much about the scratches, adds character to that 76 year old survivor......... ::

Nice work. That’s a classic beauty. Don’t worry about the scratches. A little patina looks good on a pipe that old.

Looks like a very nice pipe. What did you use to do your final polish on the silver?

Flitz Polish, good stuff. I use it on stems too that aren't to oxidized

Those scratches are pretty tough to eliminate, you'd probably do more harm than good in the attempt. Looks pretty darn good to my screen!

Well done! That's a smart looking pipe. Love that grain on the left side bowl (from the smoker's perspective). It reminds me of combed marbled paper.
