Hats of to Anthony (piffyr) for a job well done. This is my first Dunhill, I wanted to keep this pipe as original as possible although I knew it would mean keeping some bumps and bruises. The stem was a mess with a crushed bite zone and a nice hole on one side. The patch job Anthony did was stellar. Thanks again, I could go on and on But that’s what the links for

That is some beautiful work. I peruse another forum and saw pictures of a lot of his work. All fantastic stuff. A pipe is in good hands with piffyr. My hat is off to the pipe medic. Uperepik, I hope you enjoy the hell out of that Dunnie! Congrats!

Here
That's some amazing work.
If it isn't too personal a question, what should one expect to pay for that level of restoration service?

I’ll let Anthony speak to that since I know it can very depending on what’s needed.

Lovely job, to get a very good feel for the look compared to original just compare it to my near mint condition Bruyere Churchwarden I posted you won’t be able to distinguish it from my totally original, very strong work and a pipe to be proud of and cherished.

That is a terrific pipe and a fantastic resto. For Dave G to speak so highly of the work is indicative as to the quality, since he is a master of restoration himself.
Congrats!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If the day comes that I can't work on my own pipes anymore, Anthony will be gettin' my bidness. :puffy:

That's absolutely beautiful work. I'm going to be contacting the same member this week about restoration of a Dunhill bruyere also.

Sheeeesh...Beautiful pipe and beautiful work. I would buy a book of just Anthony's Before / After pictures.
