The online tobacco sellers offer this at about $2 an ounce, or $25 a pound in bulk.

A classic “pipe shop” blend, #12 Cherry Cavendish is made from Virginia tobaccos flavored with a cherry liqueur that enhances the tobaccos, but doesn’t overwhelm the Virginia tobacco taste. I can taste hay, citrus, and a hint of cocoa, always with a cherry note in the background.

Not syrupy sweet, but a delicious, balanced, all day smoke that leaves the room smelling like cherries.

Try some your next online order, before the do gooders discover how good this stuff is, and come after it.:)

I don’t know if this was a one-off for you or if you‘re actively seeking cherry blends, but you might be interested in Rattray’s Terry Red. It combines cherry with rum and ginger. I last smoked it over a decade ago, but my notes from that time indicate that those flavors—rather than combining into a single experience—presented themselves individually down the bowl: first the rum, then the cherry, then an elusive hint of ginger. It remained flavorful throughout the smoke, and I recall enjoying it. (Though, admittedly, aromatics and aromatic-leaning blends aren’t what I primarily smoke.)

I'm not much on cherry blends. They tend to trigger my gag reflex. But if it's Sutliff and understated, more tobacco forward, it might actually work for me. I'll keep it in mind.
