Kind of a long shot here, I know, but....

I'm going to visit some old friends in Albuquerque next month. It's been a long time since I've been back. I'd like to stop by any local pipe shops while I'm there if any still exist.

The one I remember from way back is pueblo pipe shop, but either they're ungoogleable (not that strange for ABQ), or gone. I also vaguely remember a place called Stag tobacconist where my pipe smoking ex-brother-in-law Curtis shopped in the 80s. But it was in a mall. And given the equation of pipe shop + mall = probably not, I don't have high hopes. So...

Anybody have any ideas or recommendations in the area?

Just for historical purposes, if anybody's looking for shops in ABQ some time in the future, I found a few on my trip.

Monte's Cigars and Pipes - 3636 San Mateo Blvd NE

Stag Tobacconist - 11200 Montgomery Blvd NE Ste 20

The people were cool at both places. Neither had what I'd call an amazing selection of pipes or tobacco, but they had a few classics (the Peterson Dunhills, a few Pease, a few C&D, some Lane bulks) to select from. Side benefit of the lower store traffic for pipes meant that the tins I scored all had a couple of years age on them.
