    This is just Bananas #2.

I hope the art gallery has warning signs, some people are severely allergic to those yellow phallic chemical weapons.

    Naming Patterns.

What did Gandalf say when an elvin craftsman misdrilled the draft hole on his new pipe? "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!............a standard BJ long pipe cleaner."

    The Benefits of Having Children

Well I really wanted to be a grandad one day and figured the only path there was through fatherhood...kind of like how as a kid I always looked forwards to retirement, and realised I would have to have work life first in order to get there. I think I have always been an old man.

    The Value of Handling Tobacco?

I thought strep throat was bad, then I found out about obstreperous throat!

    This is Just Bananas.

Its crazy...but only as crazy as being able to source bananas in Sweden...or as crazy as the need for an international pipe smokers forum...I guess what I am trying to say is that it lines up with everything else I already knew about our species.

    This is Just Bananas.

I want to hear this conclusion too!

    The Value of Handling Tobacco?

It's all in the hands of the beholder. When I am in a work day, with oil/stain/solvent/paint/glue/grease/grime/dust on my hands I rely on a scoop straight from a pouch, and something other than my own digit to tamp. If my hands are clean-ish I will pack and tamp by hand.

    Tobacco Dust - Uses

I scatter it out on the lawn for the sparrows.

STG closes Mac Baren and Sutliff

That makes sense. I think the experience I had was with a dried out pouch, not so much aged in years but just abandoned/lost for 6 months.

Unlikely to Ever Get to Try Penzance

You've been to the toilet twice, I already got you a glass of water, heres your hot water bottle now GO TO SLEEP!

STG closes Mac Baren and Sutliff

Do you mean 'hey members'? or were you talking to 'embers'? I will answer anyway. Your aged mix 79 will have a reduced topping flavour, which possibly works in its favour if you find it a bit much fresh.

Should I Pick it Up Again and Smoke It?

Sounds reasonable! But at one cigar a year, I think I will just make sure I smoke the thing in one go

Should I Pick it Up Again and Smoke It?

The longest was a falcon with some 1Q that had ended up under the seat in the car...for at least a month. It tasted just fine. (If I leave a cigar for a half hour I think it tastes gross by the way)

    Hello from North East Scotland

Welcome! I was just reading a few weeks ago about how the alter stone at stonehenge came from your general area...750km to travel for a 6 tonne rock!

    A Szechuan Dinner (With Photos)

You got me with the cumin lamb! mmmmmm...I can smell it. I lived in ZhengZhou in 2003, and the summer night smells with the lamb skewers that everyone eats out on the street with beers...

Proof That Music Was Better 30 Years Ago

I liked hearing about the time his 'page turner' sitting at the piano, had to keep a straight face, because the score to his new piece that he was playing live had just a few random hieroglyphic scribbles on each page, and no actual music notes!

    Writing project

I see you left the date open at the top of the page, that's probably for the best, religion can be quite divisive. This might be the most profound level of irony I have ever experienced on here...a non smoker, participating on a pipe smoking enthusiast forum; sharing a long term methodical...

A Pleasant Surprise and Stars Aligning

A great story, and a great, great aunt!

    C&D Engine #382 vs C&D Crooner

I liked crooner...I can't remember if I even tried the other one. Crooner lets you experience the deer tongue I think.

No Looking a Gift in the Mouth!

Hey you are doing really well, my mother in law got me a PLASTIC 'peace pipe' from a thrift store, complete with wolf head, bear paw imprint, eagle wings etc. I put it up on display so she would know I appreciated it.
