    Tobacco Blend Disaster

Being a cheap S.O.B., I decided to mix some leftover flakes together and smoke them. It was awful! Tongue bite and a terrible room note. Fortunately, the dog had gas and masked the room notes. Think I'll leave the blending to the experts and just throw out the leftover flakes.

Dad Died Last Weekend And I Inherited His Pipes etc.

Sorry for your loss. I inherited pipes from my Father and Grandfather. Don't smoke them often, but when I do, I remember Dad fishing at the lake and Grandad sitting on the porch imparting wisdom like the 11th Commandment. Great memories.

Does Your Spouse Know How Much Your Pipes Cost?

This reminds me of the old gun collector's prayer: "Lord, please don't let my wife sell my guns for what she thinks I paid for them." The same could apply to pipes.....

What Happens When You Put the Pipe Down?

When I put the [i[e down, I pick up a glass of single malt Irish. I have no idea what happens after I set the glass down.

    Zippo, Great company

I have a Zippo that I bought at the ship’s store (USS Holder DD 819) in 1968, still works though the hinge for the top is getting a little wonky.
