Quiting The Bad Habit Of Cigarette Smoking

I know some of us here have picked up the pipe and it sure has been a great alternative to quiting the cigarette habit for sure! I still enjoy my pipes all the time but I have found a good method of quiting the nasty cigarette habit to be vaping. I'd always heard the term 'vaping' but knew very...

I recently acquired this S. Yanik pipe which is only 4 1/2" long and has a 2 1/4" bowl height with a tapered chamber I find perfect for smoking flakes. I like it's rugged old charm too. Very pleased with this pipe!

    A Lesser Known Peterson Pipe

Personally, I had never heard of this line from Peterson until I ran across this one. This is a Peterson's Shell-Meer (120) and it's my understanding it's from circa 1950's. I did see one in a lovat shape that had been listed on an auction site for $165.00. Seems rather pricy to me! Now I...

    The General's Arrival

Arrived in todays mail. I think I was very lucky to find this 'Buy It Now' estate CAO Meerschaum Viking General that looks as if it's previous owner smoked it once or twice. I've never owned a CAO Meerschaum but have read good reviews about them. I will probably only keep it for display purposes.

I've had this pipe for awhile and really enjoy the smoke it provides. It's a great large pipe. I recently seen a few other Winsløw designed Stanwell pipes on eBay and started reading the description which stated these are one of a kind pipes making them originals and no two shapes are alike...

If You Could Only Have One Pipe

I face a dilemma. If you had to choose between two pipes which would it be. An old UnSmoked GBD Virgin Dublin shape with clear Lucite stem (Brass GBD logo) or A Pre-Trans Hallmarked Barling T.V.F Exel Billiard with Mil. bit. (looked heavly smoked but I restore pipes, so that's no issue.) I can't...
