    A while back I did something like that: I blended some cheap Toscano cigar crumble with some basic tobacco. It was about 50/50 and it wasn’t all that bad. I see no harm in experimenting a bit :)

    I'm relatively new to pipe smoking, but I've found most freshly cracked tins to be a tad on the moist side. I try to air some tobacco before I pack, but usually, I'm too impatient to be honest. Anyhow, I do have a feeling that pipe tobacco is more forgiving to be on the dryer side than cigars...
