Cigar in a Pipe
A while back I did something like that: I blended some cheap Toscano cigar crumble with some basic tobacco. It was about 50/50 and it wasn’t all that bad. I see no harm in experimenting a bit :)- David C.

Drying Time
I'm relatively new to pipe smoking, but I've found most freshly cracked tins to be a tad on the moist side. I try to air some tobacco before I pack, but usually, I'm too impatient to be honest. Anyhow, I do have a feeling that pipe tobacco is more forgiving to be on the dryer side than cigars...- David C.

I'm not so much worried about not liking anything. As with cigars, I think I have had over 200 different ones, with just one that I didn't like. So, 90% end up usually in the 'ok, not bad' area, with a 10% that I really like, and stock boxes of. I assume it will be somewhat similar with...- David C.
