    I do get a little bit of tongue bite which is why I started considering using a filter in the first place. As new as I am, I'm also wondering if that could just be from lack of experience.

    I appreciate the response. Something I have noticed is after most smokes, I'll have a little bit of tongue bite (probably from inexperience) and was thinking it may help. I also don't want to remove all the flavor.

    I bought 2 in the last month. One because I wanted a smaller bowl. The other one I bought for my birthday. It was a nicer one (30ish dollars) The one I'll probably use the most is the Huck Finn MM. Small cheap pipe.
