    Plaka Olive Wood

That is scary. I was going to mention an Olive wood pipe for my friend and I in Malta a few years ago. Would Olive wood be considered poor quality ? I don`t use mine often but I kind of liked it.

    Palate Refinement

I must confess to buying some American Blend Kentucky Nougat pipe tobacco recently and not sure why, but after half a dozen smokes, I can`t taste a damn thing. Is this just a cheap blend, or is it just me ?

    Coffee or Tea?

If I manage to do it quietly I have a french press and can get two full mugs of coffee 1st thing in the morning, black with sweetner. If unfortunately my wife hears me, or she smells the freshly made coffee and catches me, I am forced to give HER one of my coffees, and my day is ruined...

Back to the Pipe in NYS

Are any of you fine gentlemen ACW re-enactors ? I used to be in the UK and I`m interested to know your regiment if possible. I don`t know if it`s the same in the US, but in the UK, we get loads of programmes from South Korea on Netflix. We`ve had some great shows among the obvious dross.

Jim's Sutliff The Old Boss 175th Anniversary Review.

I discovered Sutliff Barbados plantation tobacco as a sample. The aroma is amazing and just fills the room. If all the Sutliff tobaccos are the same, I look forward to trying them. Even my wife isn`t objecting to the aroma.
