    Pipe Sighting at the Movies

Not exactly "in a movie" but still... this is from Commando shooting process. I knew he loves cigars but first time I see him with a pipe

    Please Help ID this Logo

Most likely! The logo is of Laudisi Distribution Group (An L, then a d in shape of a pipe and then a squiggle looking like a g). It doesn't really match their current logo but makes sense at least. Thank you all

I've got this pipe from an Estate Lot on eBay. The stamp on the shank says "made in London, England" Thank you

    Anybody Use Clipper Lighters?

Yep, these bastards are the best for a pipe IMO. Unfortunately I was never been able to refill one properly. I stick the butane bottle in and press for as long as 2-3 minutes but it never gets as full as it was when I bought it. On the other hand - they come for almost dirt price at my local...

    Anybody Use Clipper Lighters?

The fact that Clipper's butt fits perfectly in almost every chamber and therefore can be (and is often) used as a tamper gives it additional 100 points before any other odd-shaped Bic / Cricket / Zippo / you-name-it

An Alternative Technique to Avoid Tongue Bite

Just tried the Air Pocket packing method on my meerschaum-lined pipe with 9mm Balsa filter- wow! Very easy and controllable draw Very cool smoke No relights, almost no tampering (but I think I packed too much) Thank you for the idea! Will hand on to it for now

1st Month of My Pipe Smoking Journey

As a 30 years cig smoker and 2 month pipe smoker I can totally confirm these ^^^. Was just thinking about writing my experience down after 3 months or so...

    Pipe Sighting at the Movies

At that time nobody thought about it... BTW, they censored out Sherlock's phrase "Oh, you've served in Afghanistan!" (When he meets Dr. Watson). Changed it to "eastern colonies". Another fun fact - Sherlock's pipe was hand-made by Alexey Fedorov, the guy who made Stalin's pipes. At some point...

    Pipe Sighting at the Movies

Another Soviet "British style" movie - Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog) (1979). The actor was a pipe smoker in real life.

    Pipe Sighting at the Movies

How about a Soviet version of Sherlock Holmes (1979)?

    Frustrated!

I am only a n00b here so maybe my 2 cents will go in vain but I totally agree with @gervais - relights are my life. As soon as I stopped worrying about relights (hey, I am smoking my pipe when I'm alone, no one's watching) I started enjoying my pipe more! And you know what? Somehow (not that I...

Please Help Identify this Pipe Shape

Hello everybody. I am trying to identify this pipe shape. The chamber is 26mm deep, looks cylindric, inner diameter is 17.8mm and outer bowl diameter, measured on top is 42mm. Judging by these I'd say it's a Bent Pot shape but I'm confused by the smooth decline from the bowl to the shank. Why am...
