    Peterson Box Question

Hi Everyone, Are Pipes that come in these particular Peterson boxes of any particular grade/quality? I’ve noticed that some that I’ve seen are “Pipe of the year” pipes, but I think I’ve see Pete’s that weren’t POY pipes in them. Or are these boxes just a different run of average Pete’s box...

    Hello from Massachusetts!

Another great shop in MA is Watch City Cigar in Framingham. (Maybe Natick) it’s a great shop. They also have one in Waltham, but I’ve never been to that one, so I can’t speak on it, but the one on Rte. 9 in Framingham has a great selection of pipes and tobacco and Ernie (Mgr.) is a great guy and...

    Dogs & Pipes

I love English Bully’s!! I’ve got an American Bully that has the same markings as your girl on the right in the pic, with the spot on her head and all! Great looking dogs! I’ve got a Frenchie too, but someday I want to get and English for sure. Definitely my favorite breed.

    WTB Peterson Sherlock Holmes Stand

Hi all, First of all, I hope it was ok to post this WTB thread in this forum. I’ve seen WTB threads posted in the Tobacco for sale forum, so I figured that this would be the place to put this. If not, and we’re not to post WTB’s, I apologize in advance. A couple to a few months ago I acquired...

    Training Myself to Smoke Cooler

Newbie smoker here, but after some early trial and error, I’m finding a combination of things are helping. First off, in addition to what everyone shared so far, is as a newbie I find holding the bowl rather than clenching helps me monitor the heat of the bowl prior to getting bitten. If it’s...

    Jim's C&D Toscano Maestro Reviews.

Thanks for the review, I really enjoyed reading about all 3 and the differences between them. I’m a pretty new pipe smoker and having read the basic description of them, I was intrigued to try one of the 3. I bought a tin of “Allegro” and just absolutely love it so far! I’ve smoked probably 7...

Wet Behind the Ears, but Loving It!

Yup, I take your meaning, planning ahead for such times is essential, especially when you have loved ones counting on you to provide. I had some savings etc… but certainly this has been a lesson in exactly what you pointed out. Too true and was a moment of clarity about taking things for granted...
