Exactly, Dry cold is like dry heat you can layer up or layer down to deal with it. But damp cold penetrates no matter what you are wearing and high humidity soaks everything. Here in NJ we seem to have more of the latter.- RPK

The same here in NJ. Since last night we have gotten 1½" at a continual slow and gentle rate which is great as it gets a chance to soak in and not run off. My dried lawn seems to even have a slight tinge of green color to it. :)- RPK

Tips on getting this cake off?
For fine cleaning you can use bronze shotgun cleaning brushes in your drill. I use 12ga & 16ga as they fit most of my pipes and are gentler than a reamer.- RPK

Looking For a Condenser / Chimney for a Peterson
I recently acquired a Peterson System Premier 312 from the 1947-1949 time era that is missing the condenser / chimney. And, yes, the tenon end of the stem is threaded to accept one. Back then they were made from bone and later on brass before switching over to aluminum in about 1963. I...- RPK
