    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

Yeah, I don't inhale. When lighting the pipe do you think short puffs or deeper puffs is the way to go?

    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

I've just taken a picture of my stem. The opening on mine is about 2mm big. Does this look normal to you?

    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

I just looked the cannonball up, that looks very interesting. I might go for something like that in the future that has a larger bowl for longer sessions. I only have experience with a cob country gentleman. I ordered a Savinelli Bing's favourite and I hope for it to arrive in the coming...

    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

Which pipes do you prefer? Any specific companies?

    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

The same here. My cobs never gurgled with the original stem but do with the forever stem

    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

That's a good suggestion. Unfortunately I've got 5 of these country gentleman's now.

Oh right. I should have got a cob with an acrylic stem. Is it possible to buy one the cob acrylic stems to fit a country gentleman?

    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

You mention some of the newer cobs now come with a nicer acrylic stem. I thought the cheaper cops also had an acrylic stem? In terms of materials the stems are made from the same thing?

    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

Yes. I think it's just my inexperience. I tried something new a moment ago. When lighting my pipe, I took much deeper inhales than I did prior to create a deeper and stronger ember. Creating way more smoke than I did earlier. I think this is the way to go. I was able to keep the pipe lit...

Sorry I'm not familiar with the term CFM. Can you enlighten me?

    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

Absolutely. The first thing I do with my stems is take out the filter. I love the draw from a stem with no filter. The draw from my forever stem with no filter is comparable to the draw on the original stem with a filter

It can pass a pipe cleaner. It's a little tight though passing it through. Yes I ordered them directly from Vermont Freehand. Unfortunately I don't have anything else as a reference point. I only know the draw of a mm cob. I have a Savinelli Bing's Crosby coming in a few days which will...

    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

I just tested them both, and the difference is huge. With twice the effort on the forever stem, I'm getting like 50% of the draw. I love the quality of the material on the forever stem, it's a massive upgrade, but the draw kills it for me. Looking at the two stems side by side, I'm not...

    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

Even when the pipe isn't packed. Just the forever stem in an empty bowl, the draw is still really restricted. If I were to put a number on it. With the same inhale I probably pull in 40% of the smoke with the forever stem as I do with the original stem. The difference is very significant.

    A Whinge on Forever Stems!

Title edited for brevity and whimsy. Original Title: "Just received forever stems for cob and I don't like them" I received a couple of straight forever stems today. Excitedly, I put them in my country gentleman mm cob, but I'm a little disappointed. The draw on the original cob stem is so...
