Help getting started with first pipes, tobacco, etc.

Keep strong aros out of your other tobacco pipes. There are some that even one smoke will flavor several bowls to come. Some are less severe but you dont know until you know! Strong lat or English blends are best segregated, then another pipe for burleys and other VA. You can go to extremes...

    Cleaning your rubbers?

@mingc is right. The synth bits come off easy...too easy. If you clench and moisture gets under the bit it slides around. One can use this to an advantage. When the stem is wet slide the clean one back on. Id use water and not slaiva since you are trying to actually clean. I used them for...

Tobacco For Folks Who Sit Around A Camp Fire

I dont do it but I can see how vanilla or fruit might not go with wood smoke. Id agree...a lat forward blend or something hearty. Maybe think savory rather than sweet. If its a big or smokey fire I could imagine it overpowering blends that are light and subtle. Something that at other times...

Help getting started with first pipes, tobacco, etc.

Thriving in the Upcoming Tobacco Apocalypse

The good an bad of gaining experience is that you develop favorites. That said, one also develops appreciation for other flavors. This leads me to the conclusion that I would be bummed to not have access to my favorites but Im ok if it happens becuase I can find something else I like. Its not...

    Questions for Leonardw

I’m not sure what the argument is here but lets be clear. Its always been business. Its about making money. Its not habitat for humanity. Anger serves no real purpose. One could just as easily be angry with the owners who had the gal to take money from foreigners. Its just as silly of an argument.

    Questions for Leonardw

Good news that the Pete blends are ok for now. With any company we may as well learn that all blends are subject to vanishing. Considering the Pete blends are only avaliable in tins its a bit spendy to try and stock up. Now I can slowly stock up on DNR.
