What an informative thread. I get tongue bite/burn/pain almost every pipe with aromatics. I wanted to like pipe smoking more than I didn't want tongue pain. I'm glad I stuck with it. I'm trying better brands now like Mac Baren & Cornell & Deihl latakia and perique. I'm learning more and more...- goodpipe31
