Cheers from Wisconsin! Legislation makes it more difficult and expensive over time, so right now is a great time to jump right in and start buying pipes and tobacco to cellar. Cursed Pipe Won't Smoke
I also will postulate that the draft hole is too small. I solved the same problem on several pipes by drilling them out, and now they smoke great.- Doctor Chopper

Building Dust in Pipes
Pipe cleaners, a bottle of Everclear, and an air compressor. If the pipes still taste funky, take a shot of Everclear orally. Repeat until desired results.- Doctor Chopper
