Why I am intrigued for meerschaum: 1) you don’t have to burn it in, therefore if you want to “try” pipe smoking, you don’t have to wait for the “right smoke” (that is what my logic says) 2) meerschaum works as a good filter itself; it is light; heat absorber - practical things 3) really like...- franzkfk

Yeah I checked that out. It seems to me that the Peterson System is probably the thing I want to try, but it is pretty expensive. I would go with Ratrray’s and If I like the general experience, I would go for Peterson System I guess.- franzkfk
