    Double bowled pipe?

The same problems that arise from having a single bowl/pipe.

    Double bowled pipe?

That's bonkers! Thanks for the examples - I did a quick search but could only find cannabis pipes. Is there any reason, beyond aesthetics, that these weren't more popular? A 2 in line pipe would be perfect for out and about.

    Double bowled pipe?

Hi, Perhaps this is is a stupid question, but has anyone ever produced a pipe consisting of a single stem but with 2 or more bowls attached? Presumably one of the 2 bowls would need to be sealed to prevent excessive airflow, but other than that it would function the same as a single bowl. I...

I recognise the Nimrod but what's the other lighter?

Very nice! I really like the simplicity of the design.

Absolutely the Butner reamer. I've been meaning to buy an original one although I don't tend to let the cake build up enough to warrant it. In terms of pipe knives, I usually carry a Victorinox Executive or Director penknife around anyway, which included an usual "orange peeler" tool - it fits...

    Classic Pipe Accessories

I'll start: These Falcon thimble tampers are apparently prized by many a Falcon aficionado. I haven't been able to track one down yet so I found this image elsewhere. They make a lot of sense. Also, slightly different, but the British .303 round was used during both World Wars and was...

    Classic Pipe Accessories

Good evening! I think most of us are familiar with the Czech tools, Baccyflaps, Brebbia nail tampers, Corona Oldboys, and those formerly abundant plaid or tartan tobacco pouches, but are there any other iconic pipe smoking accessories that a cultured and discerning pipe smoker ought to know...

    Mystery Barling's Make?!

I've now come to the conclusion that this pipe is a fake. I'll post my reasoning once I've finished doing a bit more research, but thanks very much for your help!

    Mystery Barling's Make?!

Thanks for the response. I purchased it. It turns out the person I think you're referring to - sablebrush52 - responded to my post on another page: https://pipesmagazine.com/forums/threads/show-off-your-barlings-here.26503/page-22#post-36681020 He's not sure what to make of it...

Sure: There's also another PipesMagazine post from a few years ago regarding another "John Cotton" stamped pipe that has some info: https://pipesmagazine.com/forums/threads/john-cotton-47-7-frederick-st-edinburgh-scotland-saddle-billiard.45853/

Thanks for the reply Sablebrush52. The only other nomenclature is the name "John Cotton" stamped on the opposite side of the shank. Apparently John Cotton was a Scottish tobacconists based in Edinburgh. There's some background in the following article: "John Cotton started life as far back...

    Hello, Fellow Pipe People!

Brighton via SE London. I've got some friends from Hereford - sounds like a nice place. I've just finished a tin of St. Bruno. I did enjoy it, but found it a bit more acrid than Erinmore, although it does seem to smoke a little drier. Condor's the next port of call.

Thanks! Where abouts in Sussex? I live in Brighton now but I'm originally from South East London.

    Mystery Barling's Make?!

Hello. First time poster here - nice to virtually meet you all! I came across this small pipe at a local bric-a-brac shop in Brighton, UK, among a selection of largely unremarkable pipes. I'm relatively new to pipe smoking but just so happened to read an article about Barling's about 2 weeks...
