No doubt. I only use the adjustable ones, the flame is much smaller than a standard bic on the lowest setting (which I will use in a pinch if neither matches nor grill lighter is available).- PoplarWight

First Pipe, Briar Or Cob?
I started with a briar basket pipe, and it's what I would recommend. I use my cobs as semi-disposable pipes and they smoke great, but there really isn't anything comparable to the feel and smell of warm briar.- PoplarWight

Overuse Of Acronyms Can Frustrate Newbies
