I’m smoking through a tin of Orlik Racing Green right now. It’s about 10 years old if I’m reading the code correctly. I’ve never had it fresh so I can’t compare, but it’s a mighty fine smoke right now. I think cellaring aros will be no problem.
I’m not the sentimental type. Not a bad idea though.
We’re going camping for Father’s Day. I’ll rehydrate them and fire one up around the fire. If they suck, I’ll toss them in and put something nice in my pipe.
I really don’t think I’ll become a regular cigar smoker. I’m happy with my pipes. I just found them and thought I’d ask y’all’s opinions before tossing them.
I don’t usually get a morning smoke, but on the occasions that I do, I’ll usually grab a vanilla aromatic. HOWEVER, I’m currently working through a tin of Saint Espresso, and believe it or not, it goes rather well with coffee.
Since winter is giving us one last kiss goodbye (damn snow), I decided it was soup day. Had a ham bone in the freezer, so I made a pot of split pea and ham with some toasted cheesy garlic baguettes to dip. Come on, spring! Any time would be great.
This little Visol has been a workhorse. I’m not careful with it AT ALL, and three years in hasn’t failed me. The side wheel makes it super easy to strike. Paid $50 for it.
😁😁😁😁😁
I’m only kinda joking. I keep my nice lighters in the garage, where I smoke 90% of the time. If I’m out back grilling, I reach for one of these to light up. They work pretty well, actually
So I’ve never smoked a cigar. I know next to nothing about them. I found two Barclay Rex cigars that are inside a ziplock inside a box that I had forgotten I had tucked away. My sister-in-law brought them to me from New York when my oldest was born… 9 years ago. Is there any hope for these?
I never looked very closely at the tin art before. Knowing nothing about the blend, and only noticing the colors on the label as I scrolled by, I had always assumed it was a peach aromatic and kept scrolling. I see now, those aren’t peaches on the label.
