***What Are You Smoking, April 2024?***

C&D Kajun Kake in a Peterson Derry 338. Love the military mount for the full bent pipes. It almost acts like a system pipe in that it collects some moisture in the mortise.

Double post. I’m sure it’s user error, but I don’t know how to delete a post. Maybe a delete post option under the edit feature would be good.

C&D Kelly’s Coin in a Savinelli Noce 315KS. Call me Senor Repeato, there is nothing like C&D Burley and black coffee for the first smoke of the day.

Solani Aged Burley Flake in an IMP Meerschaum. We recently moved into our new house and it has a fairly high eve in front and sure enough the wasps chose it for their nest site. So it’s time to buy a taller ladder and spray the little *******.

Jim or Anyone KBV Anne Cap Like Cavendish?

Keep in mind I’ve only had a couple bowls out of a fresh tin of Gillingham, but it striked me as similar to Winchester but with more Cavendish. I, like you, wanted a non-aro or lightly aromatic cavendish although I approached it as wanting a softer smoke. I tried straight Cavendish and that...

Jim or Anyone KBV Anne Cap Like Cavendish?

I’ve only smoked a couple bowls out of a cob so jury is still out. C&D Gillingham Mixture. “A rustic blend of black cavendish, red and bright Virginias, and a touch of Perique, with a bit of honey to sweeten the pot”. Definitely not an Aromatic.

    A Stark Warning

I think this is why I like Army mounts, especially in a bent pipe.
