    How to Avoid Ashtray Mouth?

It's a necessary side effect of smoking. Drinking something and chewing gum will make it unnoticable and you'll get used to it soon enough anyway.

    Tinnitus Relief

Ha, seems like half the people on this forum has tinnitus. Anyway I've had it for as long as I can remember. The best thing you can do is to accept it, and try to relieve it in some non-harmful ways. I keep a fan on constantly in my bedroom, that makes my head quiet at least.

    Looking for my Grandfathers Tobacco

I seriously doubt it. Most habitual pipe smokers or codgers just buy tobacco and smoke it. Only hobbyists age tobacco intentionally.

New Pipe Tobacco Smoker: Year 1 Recap

Only smoking one blend would also save you a lot of money. I had a period of TAD a while back, but then you lose appreciation for individual blends and have a lot of jars that will stay unopened for a long time.

New Pipe Tobacco Smoker: Year 1 Recap

Wonderful stuff! You might think about delving into, and only smoke one blend. This would allow you to really find out a lot about it, and learn a lot of stuff in the process. Trying to find the right moisture, packing it right, and how to smoke it. Mac Baren Scottish Blend might be the one to...

    1999 Assortment of Tobaccos.

If you can save them another ten years they may be worth a lesser fortune. I would expect values over 500 dollars, if not double if you sell them in the future.

    Marlin Flake

Marlin flake is the only tobacco that has given me some kind of awful chemical reaction. Tastes really good though.

    Sam Gawith Burnt Ends

FVF is most definetely "sauced". Just smell it. It does not smell like raw tobacco. I wonder if the lighter portions are just the ends missed by heat or flavoring?

    Most Sought After Unicorns...

It sure is in steady production. I guess it's only the drops in America getting bought up quickly. Here in Europe they are very abundant.

How To Get a Thread Locked

Seems like you can make a truly grotesque title without the thread being locked. But at least i can say, as a scandianavian, that I plead innocecense, since I am not of the mother toungue, No matter how harsh, sexual, or disturbing: It it snot my mother tougnue. So mods, I am very sorry. I know...

What Was Your Most Recent Tobacco Order?

Plugs or twists aren't difficult to prepare at all. Just take a knife and cut it into slices of your choosing. It's quite nice since you can make the thickness of the tobacco into whatever you want: shag, broken flakes or coins.

    My Astas Meerschaum Progression

And they used asbestos in everything for years, that doesn't mean that it's harmless. With all due respect, restorers using alcohol does not necessitate that it is the best product for the job. For ebonite it should be fine though.

    My Astas Meerschaum Progression

True, but scientific knowledge is something that can be trusted. Unless someone here can come with evidence that alcohol does not cause damage to acrylic, then the contrary can be vehemently supported.

    My Astas Meerschaum Progression

Yeah, maybe. My concerns are just concerned about alcohol + acrylic, which seems to be bad for the plastic, which you can read about online. Still I really don't think that it would hurt the stem to do it once in a while.
