    KAF pipe from Ukraine

I've purchased several of their pipe racks. Very well made. Affordable and packaged nicely for shipping. Easy to assemble. I haven't purchased anything else from them.

Which Peterson Sherlock Holmes is Rarer.

That may be as close as we've ever come to consensus in these forums. 🤣

    Lightheaded and Not Sure Why

Speaking of eating first... I just finished dinner, I think I'll go enjoy a bowl. puffy

Strong Blends, Gentle on the Throat and Sinuses?

War Horse isn't as strong as it's made out to be. It's robust, don't get me wrong, but it won't knock you on your arse. As for the green stuff.... I don't care for it. Me and aromatics don't generally get along. Could be a body chemistry thing, so I'm probably not the guy to ask.

    Solar Eclipse. Have Fun.

There is an old saying, "pictures just don't do it justice." The first time I understood the meaning of those words I was a sailor, watching the sunset in the middle of the Pacific. The next was seeing the Aurora from the Bering Sea. The last time was when I visited the Grand Canyon... today was...

    Solar Eclipse. Have Fun.

If the skies cooperate, I should have a great view of the eclipse.

Which Peterson Sherlock Holmes is Rarer.

I'm late to the game, but Sherlock meerchaum pipes are extremely rare.

***What Are You Smoking, April 2024?***

Enjoyed a couple bowls & pints earlier this afternoon at my favorite Irish pub while watching the Mayo v. New York GAA football match.

How long to smoke a bowl?

Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapses.

That's not how that works. Trust me. There's more to it that that. The maritime industry is a funny thing... I don't need to get into a lengthy discussion about it though.

    What's For Dinner.

A few of my dinner meals from this week.

Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapses.

With all due respect... No. International waters begin 12 nautical miles off the shoreline of the US Coast. Inland waters are any waters within that baseline, including the states, ports, channels & navigable waterways. The ship is firmly, 100% within US territorial waters.

Why do B&Ms Rebrand Bulk Tobacco?

Are y'all telling me the Scary Library I buy at my local B&M is just repackaged Haunted Bookshop?

Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapses.

I don't think one thing has to do with the other. Ships, bump docks all the time. It's not as smooth a process as the public might think. Could have been an entirely different crew back in 2016. Certainly a different pilot. I'm sure different weather conditions. All those things play factors...

Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapses.

Not necessarily... if the port anchor was dropped, and bit (even if it was dragged), the stern would have swung starboard, not the bow... especially if at speed. The video shows the opposite, a hard turn to starboard at the bow. That leads me to think that power and propulsion may have been...

Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapses.

I'm not familiar enough with the port operations of Baltimore Harbor to give you an informed comment. Usage of guide boats, Pilots, & those sorta of things vary from port to port. I'd hate to make an assumption or speculate. Here's an interesting article I found which some might enjoy reading...
