    A Cheapy For Me ....Again.

Ordered myself a cheap freehand. An H.S Studio, took some time to come in but it did arrive eventually. So far I've had a few bowls out of it and it smokes very well considering price point. They call it a Reverse Calabash, I guess, maybe kinda sorta.

Falcon WTF! Bit of a Rant.

OK, so, I recently developed a liking for Falcons after finding an estate on the cheap, great pipes. So I decided a couple weeks ago to order myself a Hunter and an International. The Hunter is great, like my OG, but black and slick and all kinds of right. Got a Plymouth Smooth bowl too, also...

Birthday Coming Up! Recommend Me a Pipe

So, I'm turning the big'ol dirty thirty here in a couple weeks, and am looking at getting myself something nice. First Time Making a Stem.

So I tried my hand at making a new stem the other day. I bought some vulcanite and some delrin as I had purchased an Estate Brebbia a while ago that had a random stem thrown in it. But the stummel was in great shape, so I finally got around to playing with this foreign to me material, I still...

Do You Dislike a Certain Stem Material?

As the title says, is there a particular stem material you dislike for any reason and why. I myself dislike Vulcanite for the simple reason that is oxidation. I bought a NOS Brebbia last year from the 80s that was really shiny, but after a year of sitting on the rack and only being smoked...

So, I've become very attached to the Author shape, I have 4 Savinelli 320s now. But I don't see too many out there, Besides Savinelli/Rossi, Who else makes an Author? I think I might have seen an older Brebbia on ebay a while back, but can't remember for certain.

    Going to Try Rusticating.

So, a while back I picked up this cheap little "Bruyere Guarantee" for about 8$. It doesn't smoke overly well and the finish was mostly gone. I watched a few videos on doing it and seemed like fun, plus I prefer Rusticated pipes anyway. So the other night I had some time after work, so I sanded...

I Have A Navy Flake Question?

Please help educate me on Navy Flakes. I have noticed on many a website that Navy Flakes are classified as Virginia blends. I guess my question is, Are they not Aromatics? Aren't they soaked in Rum? Either way they want to classify them, they are still delicious.
