I think this has been covered quite well and theres not much to add, except, keeping the condition of the pipe in mind. With a new pipe, pack only 1/3 of the way to start a cake, then half or so, then full. The lose/medium/hard method from bottom to top has worked well for me. Don't overheat...- Wolfox6
