    Actually we make block meerschaum calabash bowls but making a custom bowl for a non-standard calabash body from a distance can be disappointing. No matter how precise the measurements you give, finishing the bowl without fitting it to the body can cause the bowl to crack or become loose.

    Hello Unfortunately this bowl is not block meerschaum. A little much heat or liquid (even beeswax) will cause the press meerschaum to crack.

    Hello Guys, Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately this is not a problem that can be fixed. But I don't think this crack will go any further, unless it's sandstone. It can be used as far as it goes without contaminating with any foreign material.
