    I pack my bowls over a coffee filter and when I am done I poor what dropped back into the jar it came from. If it's not enough I will either save it for the refill, roll it, or mix it with similar.

    I use a hot water flush after every smoke and have never had any bitter or sour tastes in my pipes. Also when I do a weekly deep clean I find that they are much cleaner after I started water flushing. I use a flavored bourbon mixed with everclear for the stem on my weekly cleanings
