Hahaha or just a lot of mixed year Esoterica for the noobs apparently

    Father The Flame Movie

Buy it, please! I need two new solar panels for the bus and a fleet of batteries...

    Sutliff Matured Red Virginia 515-RC

Haha @cosmicfolklore you already knew that though. I was trying to hit reply up top... What a long day

    Sutliff Matured Red Virginia 515-RC

Aside from being offered as C&D bulk, it's also the base for Autumn Evening. Not a big maple cases tobacco fan, but that one has such a pleasant natural leaf component that rings through the lighter-than-most toppings. I just have an extra low threshold for maple anything.

    Sutliff Matured Red Virginia 515-RC

*C&D made* mixtures. Greg was such a legend. Rest in power

    Sutliff Matured Red Virginia 515-RC

Agreed. Two Friends' Redwood has a nice grip of it in there. That is without a doubt one of the best C&D all VA mixtures imho.

How Many Bowls Do You Smoke?

1-8 per day. Depends on which day of the week and how much I have to drink.

    Father The Flame Movie

I mention to other pipers far more often than not that I have an astounding amount of mixtures for even a young collector and about four workhorses hahahaha

    Father The Flame Movie

Yeah, the few out there are just as informative as they are low budget snooze fests. Hell, half of them are just early MS slide shows compiled from royalty-free footage and photos with someone reading a narrative they wrote out... Ouch

    Father The Flame Movie

Just seemed an awful lot to invest in a movie about pipe smoking to just "load it and go"... I'll have to agree that recently I've all but abandoned my hoarder ways and have learned to find enjoyment in around five total blends. I have shelves and shelves of the good stuff because it was the...

Good on you for keeping it so simple.

    Father The Flame Movie

As someone in the brewing industry, it definitely makes sense to me that you would become so jaded. After ten years of commercial brewing and about seven of being production management, you fight every day for that "new spark". I'd also probably be pulling my hair out regardless if I were to...

    Sutliff Matured Red Virginia 515-RC

Red Virginia cavendish is great stuff. I use it at 15% or less to soften and round out some otherwise more "verdant when young" blends. Have you tried ready rubbing Sutliff's VA slices and using that in your blends? I've seen stellar result with a couple of pounds that I age every time P&C has...

***What Are You Smoking, July 2020?***

Germain's Royal Jersey Original Latakia Mixture in my first pipe. Supposedly a basket seconds Mastro de Paja, this little workhorse is still one of my faves. Few blends can deliver the classic "plum pudding" characteristics of a true English as this masterful blend. It deserves every bit of its...

***What Are You Smoking, July 2020?***

How is the Spillsbane? It's the longest standing still-available joint that WC have in stock still and I've been apprehensive about pulling the trigger... Thoughts?

Anyone Get a Chance at Country Squire's Smeagol?

Wayyyy too much CGI action in my opinion. You can't beat classic camera tricks and just plain ole cinematography talent.

Anyone Get a Chance at Country Squire's Smeagol?

Yeah, I mean I can see where people wouldn't appreciate the movies over classic literary masterpieces, but I'm also a huge fan of the Hitchhiker's guide and personally loved the movie. Most fans ripped it apart. I can also see why. I mean the damn thing was co produced by Douglas Adams himself!

Anyone Get a Chance at Country Squire's Smeagol?

haha all good, man. I guess I've heard far too many anti-LOTR tirades that ended in an ironically disheveled kind of hate, like "moist is such a gross word."
