When Do You Smoke Your Pipe?
Usually later on in the evening, after 22:00. Sometimes in the morning, as well. It's also seasonal for me. Cooler months I smoke, warmer months I don't. I also don't smoke when traveling. This summer, I will be circumnavigating the planet, and won't smoke at all.- Jack T

How Often Do You Tamp?
I hadn't thought about it until I read this. After observing my habits, I find that I light the pipe, let it go out, tamp it and relight. Then I do not tamp it again unless it goes out or the draw has no resistance, neither of which happens very often. About 2/3 of the way through, I may tamp...- Jack T

Finding Solace In My Pipes And Tobacco.
I'm the same. I go months at a time without smoking. In fact, I do not smoke in the summers at all. I also find solace and contemplation in the swirls of smoke, the smells, and the warmth in my hand.
