    that’s what we had growing up, when the power went out we used the old Telly to call and check restoration time/make sure everyone else was ok. That was a hard line into the house and at some points our only contact during strong storms

    I’m of the younger generation so I’m used to having a smart phone on me at all times and being accessible by work and family. Plus I use a CGM for my diabetes which links directly to my phone, which in of itself justifies the smart phone, I can check my blood sugar 480 times a day!

    I’ve attached a couple pictures of my Doctor Grabow. Does anyone know anything about it in particular? I got it for $7 at an antique store, I reamed it down slightly and cleaned it with ethyl alcohol, polished it with bees wax and now it’s my Daily smoker!

    thanks! It did have a break in it at some point where the stem meets the base but someone repaired it just fine and she smokes great. Only downside is the huge bowl size, I can keep a light for 45 minutes to an hour and still have leaf left to burn
